10th Annual Movie Ranking (2014)
What a great year for films. My Top 20 in 2014 ran a gamut of styles, emotions, settings and approaches. At the end of the day, landing on the top five proved really tough. Particularly the top 3. I ended up with Whiplash up top because of the mix of great story, fantastic acting, and terrific pacing. The relevancy of a quest to be your best resonated deeply. A great flick!
