How Do You Show Up?

We don’t get to choose where we’re born.

Or who we’re born to.

Or most of the zip codes that mark your formation.

But eventually, we do get to choose who we become.

And in storytelling, that choice shows up loud and clear.

Here’s the thing: Anyone can post. Anyone can run a campaign. Anyone can “just do the thing” — toss some words together, schedule a few emails, push out another video.

But caring?

That’s different.

Caring means you don’t just check the box — you ask the deeper question:

What am I really saying? Why does it matter? What could it change for someone else?

That’s the lens I bring to every story. Not “How do we get attention?”

But: How do we show up? Who are we trying to serve? And what will they feel after we show up?

Because it’s easy to just produce. Harder — but way more powerful — to create with purpose.

Caring means slowing down long enough to ask:

📍 What do I want to be known for?

📍 What do I want to leave behind when someone reads, hears, or experiences this?

It’s the difference between noise and resonance.

Between activity and impact.

Between just doing... and doing something worthwhile.

Your origin might not be your choice.

But your impact? That’s 100% on you.
